English abstract:
This paper describes the results of an effort to capture the patterns of user control actions in a building in Vienna, Austria. The resulting data, together with those from other similar studies are expected to contribute to a more realistic basis for the prediction of user behavior in buildings. Specifically, the control-oriented actions of 14 occupants of an educational building in Vienna (Austria) were monitored over a period of 10 months. The collected data is being analyzed to explore hypothesized relationships between the nature and frequency of the control actions on one side and the magnitude and dynamism of indoor and outdoor environmental changes on the other side.
